Vox Femina Los Angeles is committed to giving life to existing works and providing opportunities for living composers.

Since its inception in 1997, VFLA has commissioned 20 new pieces, making VFLA one of the most prolific commissioners of new works for women’s voices.

In addition to the commissioning of new works, VFLA has had dozens of pieces arranged specifically for the organization.
