The English and Irish are joined in song as we celebrate the Bard of Avon and St. Patrick’s Day. Join Vox for a bi-cultural evening of classic Shakespeare sonnets and a wee bit of authentic Irish music sung in Gaelic, featuring soloist Moira Smiley.  From classical works to folk songs, celebrate England, Scotland and Ireland’s many traditions old and new.

Celebrating the Muse

Saturday, June 16, 2012
8 PM

Zipper Concert Hall, The Colburn School
200 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90012

Join us as we celebrate the music, people, and events that have inspired us in our 15 years of togetherness.  We take a look back at special songs from our very first concert, commissions by well-known composers and the guest performers that shared the stage with us. Surprise guests and our singer alumni will be joining the festivities.

Enjoy a memorable look at our first 15 years and be the first to hear what’s in the works as we get ready to raise the curtain on next season and beyond.
