We embark upon the first installment of an exciting musical cycle – an exploration of culture and stories of women around the globe. Our unique performance will stir your senses as we present songs about women’s compassion and courage. This powerful afternoon of music includes a newly commissioned work by Haitian-born Sydney Guillaume, a distinctive composer who blends his cultural roots with his American upbringing. Join us for this inspiring afternoon of hope and dreams fulfilled.

We invite you to share an evening with us in celebration of two luminaries of the choral world. Composers Joan Szymko and Gwyneth Walker are no ordinary women and we will showcase their remarkable talents and awaken your spirit with their luscious music and joyous new works. Our opening concert will also feature the unexpected flair and elegance of the Mira Costa High School Advanced Women’s Chorale, an award-winning ensemble lead by Michael Hayden.
